Key Responsibilities

  • Execute safety, first aid, and security procedures to the highest industry standards.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador, providing genuine, personalized experiences to all passengers.
  • Deliver service excellence to create memorable inflight experiences and exceed customer expectations.
  • Attend to customer needs in a professional and caring manner.

  • Ensure strict compliance with inflight policies and all regulatory requirements.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum age of 18.
  • GCSE (or equivalent) qualification with a pass (Grade C or 9-4) in English.
  • Must possess unrestricted entitlement to live and work in the United Kingdom.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English, plus at least one of the following: Cantonese, Putonghua, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Malaysia, Filipino, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, or Thai. (Proficiency in Putonghua is considered an advantage).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Minimum arm-reach of 208cm when on tiptoe.
  • Prior experience in the airline, hospitality, or service industry is advantageous.

Safety and Regulatory Compliance

As this is a safety-sensitive role, successful candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Pass a comprehensive pre-employment background check.
  • Complete a Police Act Disclosure Application in compliance with legislation for restricted airport zones.
  • Demonstrate physical fitness through a pre-employment medical assessment.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug test in accordance with HKCAD (CAD373) standards.

English Assessment

Candidates may be exempt from the internal English assessment if they hold:

  • TOEIC (Public Test): A valid score of 325 or above in both Reading and Listening.
  • IELTS (Academic): A valid overall Band Score of 6.0 or above.
