Required Aircraft Types and Bases
LAT OPS DE seeks experienced instructors for the expansion of its team, particularly those holding qualifications on the following Multi-Pilot Aircraft (MPA) types:
- Airbus A320 Family (Assignments in Frankfurt, Berlin, or Zürich)
- Airbus A220 / Bombardier BD500 (Assignments in Frankfurt)
- Airbus A330 / A350 (Assignments in Frankfurt or Zürich)
- De Havilland Canada Q400 (Assignments in Frankfurt or Berlin)
Key Responsibilities
The Synthetic Flight Instructor / Examiner is primarily responsible for the execution of pilot training programs, ensuring strict adherence to LAT OPS DE’s established quality and regulatory standards.
- Conducting theoretical instruction and practical training within Full-Flight Simulators (FSTD).
- Meticulously preparing training sessions to fulfill demanding customer and regulatory requirements.
- Contributing actively to the creation, review, and continuous development of specialized training documentation and materials.
Professional Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants must demonstrate extensive prior experience as an instructor within certified flight operations or Approved Training Organizations. Essential qualifications include:
- Possession of a valid EASA ATPL or provision of verifiable documentation proving a previously acquired (even if currently expired) MPA Type Rating.
- Holding a current Synthetic Flight Instructor (SFI) certificate for at least one of the aircraft types listed above, or possessing a valid Examiner authorization.
- A minimum of 500 hours of instructional experience accrued as an SFI or Type Rating Instructor (TRI) within an FSTD or aircraft environment.
- Proven, demonstrable background within the professional airline training sector.
- Demonstrated aviation medical fitness.
- Minimum ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4.
- Mandatory German proficiency: Native speaker, or certified C1 level (Expert linguistic knowledge), or ICAO Level 5 “Extended.”
- Excellent proficiency in MS Office Suite.
