Synthetic Flight Instructor / Examiner (m/f/d) - Aviation Training
Lufthansa Aviation Training (LAT) is a premier Approved Training Organisation (ATO) in Europe, renowned for its comprehensive pilot training programs. Annually, LAT trains over 20,000 pilots from around the globe on state-of-the-art full-flight simulators. LAT OPS DE is seeking highly qualified and experienced Synthetic Flight Instructors/Examiners to join its expanding instructor team.

Aircraft Types:
Instructors are sought for the following aircraft types:
- Airbus A320 (FRA, BER, or ZRH)
- Airbus A220 / BD500 (FRA)
- Embraer E1/E2 (FRA or BER)
- Airbus A330/A350 (FRA or ZRH)
- Bombardier Q400 (FRA or BER)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct theoretical and practical training sessions in accordance with LAT OPS DE training standards.
- Prepare and deliver training to meet diverse customer requirements.
- Develop and enhance training materials.
Qualifications and Requirements:
In addition to extensive experience as an instructor within flight operations or training organisations, candidates should possess:
- EASA ATPL with a valid Multi-Engine Piston (MPA) type rating, or proof of a previously held MPA type rating (even if no longer current).
- A valid Synthetic Flight Instructor (SFI) certificate according to EASA regulations for at least one additional Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, or Embraer type. For those with an A330/A350 as their primary type, a valid examiner recognition is also required.
- Medical fitness for aviation duties.
- Minimum ICAO English Level 4.
- Proficiency in German: Native speaker, C1 level (professional proficiency), or ICAO Level 5 "Extended."
- A minimum of 500 hours of instructional experience in Flight Simulation Training Devices (FSTD) or aircraft as an SFI/TRI.
- Demonstrable experience in airline training environments.
- Excellent command of MS Office Suite.
- Strong social and didactic skills, excellent teamwork, and a customer-oriented approach.
- Willingness to travel.
- Willingness to undergo qualification for an additional aircraft type.
