Position Summary

This First Officer position for the A220 fleet represents a permanent, direct entry opportunity within the pilot function. The role is available for both full-time and part-time employment, with the primary operational location being Frankfurt am Main. Role and Responsibilities

The First Officer A220 is an integral member of the flight operations team, distinguished by professionalism, pragmatism, and an open mindset. Key responsibilities include:

• Actively contributing to and shaping the future development of Lufthansa City Airlines as a proactive and engaged member of the flight crew.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Candidates for the First Officer A220 position must demonstrate strong decision-making capabilities and exemplary teamwork skills, in addition to possessing the following essential qualifications:

• EASA CPL(A) / IR(A) with ATPL theory credit and MCC, or MPL (Phase 4 completed).
• A minimum of 500 total flight hours on CS-25 certified aircraft.
• An Airbus A220 Type Rating is highly preferred.
• Possession of a valid Medical Class I certificate.
• Completion of Advanced UPRT training in accordance with [...].745 standards.
• A general higher education entrance qualification or an equivalent academic credential.
• EU citizenship or an unrestricted residence and work permit for Germany.
• A passport with unlimited validity (applicants without an EU passport must ensure that no stricter entry restrictions apply than for EU passport holders).
• Confident oral and written English language skills, demonstrated by at least ICAO Language Proficiency Level 4.
