Key Responsibilities
- Deliver effective flight training utilizing flight simulators and ground school instruction in accordance with all applicable regulatory requirements, CAE's curriculum, and client needs.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, providing leadership and guidance to clients throughout their training journey.
- Opportunity to develop into a Training Center Evaluator (TCE) and customer contract check airman after 1.5+ years of service, based on business needs.
- Provide simulator, flight, or classroom instruction on assigned aircraft types for the issuance of licenses, type ratings, internal training, certificates, and pilot qualifications.
Minimum Qualifications
- Possess a minimum of 3,000 flight hours.
- Hold a current and unrestricted Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
- Demonstrate a strong passion for teaching, supported by excellent communication skills.
- Exhibit basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and other internet-based programs.
- Must be eligible to participate in CAE's DOT Drug & Alcohol testing program.
- Must be authorized to live and work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAAB 2000 Type Rating.
- Previous experience as a 142 Instructor and/or Training Center Evaluator (TCE).
- Previous experience in FAR 135 operations.
Physical Requirements
This role requires the ability to perform tasks with:
- Physical dexterity involving hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
- Ability to remain seated in a confined space for 4-6 hour durations with limited breaks.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 10 hours, with limited breaks.
- Capacity to sit, stoop, climb, twist, and turn as required by training activities.
