On-Call Instructor Pilot

Position Overview

CAE, a global leader in aviation training, is seeking experienced and passionate pilots to join its team as On-Call Instructor Pilots in Orlando, Florida. Responsibilities and Expectations

The ideal candidate will possess a "true" professional character, capable of cultivating a welcoming and successful learning environment. They should demonstrate proven ability to communicate effectively across all mediums (spoken, written) and at all levels. A commitment to customer service is paramount, with the ability to deliver consistent and exceptional training experiences. Furthermore, the successful candidate must be capable of tailoring training sessions to meet the diverse needs of CAE's clientele and display a keen attention to detail with an ability to maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with CAE policy and FAA requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be authorized to live/work in the United States.
  • Must hold an unrestricted ATP certificate and a minimum of one unrestricted PIC type rating.
  • FAR Part 135 experience and 3,000 hours of total flight time preferred.
  • Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and other internet-based programs.
  • Must be able and willing to participate in CAE’s DOT Drug & Alcohol testing program.
