Are you an experienced professional pilot with a passion for training? Join our team of Synthetic Flight Instructors at CAE to enhance your experience within the aviation industry – with the added benefit of spending less time away from home.
We have several full-time openings for Synthetic Flight Instructors in Burgess Hill (West Sussex) conveniently located just off the M23 motorway. Our Business Aviation Training Centre is undergoing an exciting period of expansion with the addition of two simulators being deployed over the next six months. To assist with our long-term strategy, we are looking to build an exciting and dynamic team around us as the business continues to grow.
What to expect?
CAE provides a comprehensive training program designed to build on your existing knowledge and skills as a professional Pilot. You will transition into a world-class Instructor and subject matter expert, ready to lead clients through their training. For existing Instructors and Examiners, we offer the opportunity to work with top of the range equipment and the very latest aircraft technologies.

What will I need?
+ A “true” professional character with the ability to create a welcoming and successful learning environment
+ Commitment to the customer
+ The capability to tailor training sessions to the needs of a diverse customer base
+ A keen eye for detail in training delivery – you must be able and willing to maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with CAE policy and requirements.
Our minimum requirements:
+ UK or EASA ATPL (with most recent IR being completed within the last 7 years)
+ 1500 hours or more total multi-pilot time
+ The right to live and work in the UK
+ Must read, speak, and converse in English at a high level
+ Must live in commutable distance to Burgess Hill (ideally within a 1-hour drive or willing to make appropriate arrangements to stay locally)
+ Basic computer proficiency – Microsoft Office and other internet-based programs
+ Flexibility to commit to a 5-day-on / 2-days-off work pattern

Please note that a training bond would apply to this position. The level of bond is determined by previous experience and ratings.
