This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Corporate Pilot, operating out of Birmingham, Alabama. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of passengers, ensuring a seamless and professional travel experience.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as Pilot in Command (PIC) on scheduled flights.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all passengers.
- Adhere to all flight schedules and directives governing aircraft operation.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections.
- Analyze weather conditions at departure, destination, enroute, and alternate airports.
- Prepare comprehensive flight plans.
- Ensure the aircraft is clean, prepared for flight, and stocked with necessary provisions for passenger safety and comfort.
- Meticulously review and calculate aircraft weight and balance, fuel levels, and performance charts.
- Utilize standardized checklists throughout all phases of flight.
- Supervise and guide the First Officer in performing duties essential for smooth, safe, and efficient aircraft operation.
- Coordinate the activities of all crew members assigned to the flight.
- Monitor crew performance, provide ongoing training and knowledge sharing, and evaluate crew member potential for career advancement.
- Make critical decisions regarding flight initiation, delays, cancellations, and deviations from planned routes or destinations based on operational conditions.
- Maintain proficiency by attending recurrent training on applicable aircraft types as required.
- Execute tasks as assigned by the Chief Pilot.
- Promptly report any maintenance deficiencies to the Director of Maintenance.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in aviation management or a related field.
- Minimum of 3,000 total flight hours.
- Minimum of 1,500 hours of Pilot in Command (PIC) experience.
- Proven turbine aircraft experience.
- Type rating in CE560XL aircraft is highly preferred.
