CASA Captain - Explore the Skies with Bighorn Airways

Bighorn Airways, Inc., a leading aviation company with over 50 years of experience in the Inter-mountain West, is seeking an experienced CASA 212 Captain to join their dynamic team in Sheridan, Wyoming. This seasonal position offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse clientele, including the US Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, FedEx, and UPS.

Challenge yourself in a rewarding role:

As a CASA Captain, you will play a crucial part in Bighorn Airways' mission-critical operations. Your responsibilities will include:

Piloting a CASA 212 aircraft for a variety of missions, including smokejumper deployment, paracargo delivery, and point-to-point transportation.
Operating in diverse and challenging environments, including mountainous terrain and adverse weather conditions within the Rocky Mountain region and Alaska.
Demonstrating exceptional low-level flying skills, honed by experience in demanding scenarios such as agricultural aviation.
Maintaining a strong customer focus and positive attitude while collaborating effectively with a diverse team.

Qualifications:

ATP certification with a valid First Class Medical.
Minimum 3500 hours total flight time.
2000 hours PIC in airplanes.
200 hours PIC airplane multi-engine land.
100 hours PIC turboprop.
250 hours PIC large aircraft.
200 hours low-level flying experience (agricultural experience preferred).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

5000 hours total flight time.
1000 hours PIC turbine multi-engine.
