Pilot in Command (PIC) - OCONUS Government Contract Operations
The organization is seeking a highly skilled and exceptionally proficient Pilot in Command (PIC) to support critical aviation operations under a specialized government contract in an OCONUS (Outside the Continental United States) environment. This demanding role requires unwavering commitment to safety and operational efficiency while supporting crucial missions in austere and challenging locations.
Role Summary and Responsibilities
The incumbent serves as the Pilot in Command on assigned multi-engine aircraft, maintaining absolute authority and ultimate responsibility for the safe and efficient conduct of all assigned flights. This mission-critical role provides essential aviation support to the government client, encompassing:
- Strategic passenger and cargo transport operations.
- Rapid response casualty evacuation (CASEVAC) support.
- Specialized aerial delivery procedures and logistics support.
- Ensuring all flight operations strictly adhere to established safety protocols, governmental regulations, and company policy.
Mandatory Qualifications and Experience (Required)
Candidates must strictly satisfy the following minimum criteria to be considered for the Pilot in Command position:
- Possession of an active FAA Multi-Engine Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
- A current FAA First Class Medical Certificate is required.
- Minimum of 1,500 hours of documented Pilot in Command (PIC) flight time.
- Minimum of 600 hours of documented PIC multi-engine flight time.
- Possession of a valid U.S. Passport with a minimum of six (6) months validity remaining at all times.
- Successful completion of High School Diploma requirements or equivalent.
- The demonstrated ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the Secret level is strictly required.
Highly Desired Qualifications (Preferred)
Preference will be accorded to applicants who demonstrate the following enhanced experience and certifications, indicating readiness for immediate deployment and complex operations:
- A total flight time exceeding 3,000 hours.
- Minimum of 1,200 hours of multi-engine turbine-time.
- Demonstrated proficiency and prior experience in aerial delivery operations.
- Proven operational experience utilizing Night Vision Goggle (NVG) technology.
- Current and active possession of a U.S. Security Clearance at the Secret level.
- Prior experience (minimum one year) serving as a pilot under FAR Part 135 regulations.
- Minimum of one year of experience working directly within government contracting in OCONUS, austere, or challenging operational environments.
