Pilot in Command (PIC) - OCONUS Government Contract Operations
Position Summary
The Pilot in Command serves a critical function on assigned aircraft under high-priority government contracts, executing operations in challenging OCONUS (Outside Continental United States) and austere environments. The incumbent is entrusted with the absolute safety and efficient conduct of all assigned missions, fulfilling requirements for passenger and cargo transport, essential casualty evacuation (CASEVAC) support, and aerial delivery services for the government client.
Essential Qualifications and Requirements
Candidates applying for the Pilot in Command position must satisfy the following minimum prerequisites:
- Possession of a valid FAA Multi-Engine Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
- Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- A current U.S. Passport is required, maintaining a minimum validity of six (6) months at all times throughout employment.
- A minimum of 2,000 hours of Pilot in Command (PIC) total time.
- A minimum of 1,200 hours of multi-engine turbine flight time.
- A minimum of 500 hours of PIC multi-engine time.
- The ability to successfully obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the Secret level is mandatory.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Highly Desired Attributes
Competitive applicants will possess experience and qualifications in the following areas:
- Total flight time exceeding 3,000 hours.
- Proven experience in complex aerial delivery operations.
- Demonstrated experience in Night Vision Goggle (NVG) operations.
- Possession of a current and active U.S. Security Clearance at the Secret level.
- A minimum of one (1) year of flight experience operating under FAR Part 135 regulations.
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience working within government contracting environments, specifically in OCONUS austere locations.
