About the Role
Avelo Airlines is seeking highly motivated and energetic Flight Attendants to join its dedicated One Crew team. This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of all customers and crewmembers, while delivering an exceptional customer experience across Avelo's growing network. Flight Attendants serve as brand ambassadors, contributing to a caring onboard environment and the smooth operation of all flights.
Key Responsibilities

Ensure the safety, security, welfare, and comfort of all Customers and other Crewmembers, responding effectively to in-flight emergencies.

Contribute to efficient aircraft operations and flight schedules, completing all required incident and safety documentation.

Cultivate a caring Customer experience from boarding to deplaning, serving as the primary point of contact for onboard issues and finding creative resolutions.

Adhere strictly to Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and all applicable laws, regulations, and procedures.

Maintain current qualifications through ongoing training and a comprehensive understanding of Company materials, including the Inflight Service Manual, Flight Attendant Playbook, and OneCrew Way Handbook.

Build customer loyalty, cooperate effectively with all operational Crewmembers and leadership, and serve as an ambassador for Avelo's customer service, marketing, and public relations initiatives.
Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Possess reliable transportation and the ability to report to the assigned base location within two hours.

Successfully complete all Avelo Flight Attendant training requirements.

Be prepared to accept and relocate to a base assignment at the Crewmember’s own expense after training.

Ability to work a rotating schedule with variable hours, including duty days of up to 16 hours, nighttime or overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and multiple days away from home for specific assignments.

Maintain a neat, professional appearance and demeanor, adhering to Avelo Inflight uniform and appearance guidelines.

Comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and Avelo Airlines’ regulations concerning drug and alcohol compliance for safety-sensitive transportation employees.

Willingness and ability to serve all types of food and beverages, including alcoholic beverages.

Maintain a current, working telephone number and keep residence address updated with the company.

Possess a valid United States passport (or foreign passport with applicable VISAs) prior to application, with at least six months validity remaining. Must have the unrestricted right to travel freely in and out of the United States, and to all cities served by Avelo Airlines (including Canada).

Ability to understand, speak, read, and write English fluently.

Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Physical Requirements

Vision must be at least 20/40 with corrective lenses.

Ability to physically lift 50 pounds from the ground to waist level.

Capable of walking forward down the aircraft aisle without interfering with seated customers.

Ability to be seated in a jumpseat with all belts and restraints fastened, without the use of a seatbelt extension.

Maintain balance while walking and standing during flight.
-
Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, reach, and crouch for extended periods.

Capability to push or pull aircraft doors/exits, or food/beverage carts with a force of up to 100 lbs.

Ability to assist customers needing aid during an evacuation.
