About the Role
As a Flight Attendant with Air Canada Rouge, the successful candidate will play a vital role in creating memorable journeys and upholding the highest standards of safety and service. Key responsibilities include:

Preparing the aircraft cabin for takeoff, ensuring safety, comfort, and readiness for all passengers.

Greeting customers warmly, maintaining a positive and engaging atmosphere throughout the flight.

Delivering clear, professional, and personality-driven announcements and information.

Fostering a friendly, calm, and comfortable environment for all passengers, addressing individual needs and celebrating special moments.

Ensuring strict adherence to all safety procedures and providing support to fellow cabin crew members.

Providing comprehensive snack, meal, and beverage service, including the sale of spirits and alcoholic drinks, and managing onboard product sales.

Assisting passengers with in-flight entertainment systems and resolving minor technical issues.

Supporting passengers with carry-on stowage, seating adjustments, and other comfort requirements.

Confidently managing onboard incidents and emergencies with care and precision.

Responding effectively to medical situations, including administering First Aid when necessary.

Maintaining a clean, tidy, and professional appearance of the cabin at all times.

Acting as a brand ambassador, providing feedback to leadership to continuously enhance the Air Canada Rouge experience.

Completing all required safety and service reports post-flight.
Qualifications

Minimum age of 18 years or older.

Possession of a high school diploma.

Hold a valid Canadian passport without travel restrictions.

Proficiency in English is essential, alongside proficiency in at least one of the following additional languages: French, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Greek, Italian, Hebrew, Japanese, German, Punjabi, Hindi, Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean, Tagalog, or Thai. Preference will be given to candidates proficient in both English and French.
Requirements

Must reside within a 90-minute commute of Vancouver International Airport (YVR) or be willing to relocate.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Transport Canada security clearance.

Reliable access to the internet for scheduling updates and internal communications.

Comfortable working in a high-altitude, pressurized cabin environment.

Ability to meet Air Canada Rouge's medical standards for the role, which includes successful completion of a medical evaluation and a drug and alcohol test, ensuring freedom from intoxicating substances.

Successful completion of a mandatory 6-week, full-time Air Canada Rouge Flight Attendant Initial Technical Training Program, conducted in Vancouver.
