Wasaya Airways is seeking a full-time Flight Attendant to join its Flight Operations department in Sioux Lookout, Ontario. This role is integral to ensuring passenger safety, comfort, and well-being during all flights, providing exceptional customer service while adhering to stringent safety regulations and representing the airline professionally.
About the Role

Ensuring passenger safety and comfort in accordance with company manuals and policies.

Following captain's instructions during emergency situations.

Completing all required safety announcements and demonstrations.

Planning, directing, and controlling onboard service.

Maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times.

Successfully completing all required Flight Attendant training.

Requirements

Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.

Superior customer service skills.

Ability to obtain and maintain an Airport Security Pass.

Professional and neat appearance.

Reliable transportation to and from the airport.

Excellent computer skills, preferably MS-Office, with proficiency in internet and email usage.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to interact with individuals sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally.
Qualifications and Assets

Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset.

Previous Flight Attendant experience is an asset.

The ability to communicate in Oji-Cree or Ojibway is an asset.

Experience with and/or knowledge of First Nations Organizations is an asset.
