Responsibilities

Ensure the safety, security, welfare, and comfort of all customers and crew members.

Respond safely and effectively to in-flight emergencies.

Contribute to the efficient operation of aircraft and flight schedules.

Complete incident and safety reporting.

Create a caring customer experience and serve as a brand ambassador.

Serve as the primary point of contact for customer issues, finding creative resolutions.

Adhere to Federal Aviation Regulations and all applicable laws and procedures.

Attend and maintain qualifications through ongoing training.

Maintain working knowledge of company materials, including revisions and bulletins.

Cooperate and work effectively with all crew members and leadership.

Treat each customer with kindness and respect.

Contribute to on-board service, sales, and revenue-generating initiatives.

Serve as a customer service, marketing, and public relations ambassador.
Requirements

Minimum 21 years of age.
-
Reliable transportation and ability to report to the assigned location within two hours.

Ability to attend and successfully complete all Avelo Flight Attendant training requirements.

Willingness and ability to relocate to a base assignment at personal expense after training.

Ability to work a rotating schedule with variable hours, including potential 16-hour duty days, nights, weekends, holidays, and multiple days away from home for specific assignments.

Neat professional appearance and demeanor, adhering to Avelo Inflight uniform and appearance guidelines.

Compliance with all DOT, FAA, and Avelo Airlines' drug and alcohol regulations for safety-sensitive employees.

Willingness and ability to serve all types of food and beverages, including alcoholic beverages.

Maintain a current working telephone number and file current address of residence with the company.

Possession of a valid United States passport (or foreign passport with applicable VISAs) with at least six months of validity remaining prior to expiration.

Right to travel freely in and out of the United States, and to and from all cities served by Avelo Airlines without restriction.

Fluent in English (understand, speak, read, and write).

Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Physical Requirements

Vision of at least 20/40 with glasses or contact lenses.

Ability to physically lift 50 pounds from ground to waist.

Ability to walk forward down the aircraft aisle without interfering with seated customers.

Ability to be seated in a jumpseat with all belts/restraints fastened without a seatbelt extension.

Ability to maintain balance while walking and standing during flight.

Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, reach, and crouch for long periods.

Ability to push or pull aircraft doors/exits, or food/beverage carts with a force of up to 100 lbs.

Ability to assist customers needing assistance during an evacuation.
