About the Role
Avelo Airlines, a new high-value, low-fare airline, is seeking energetic and highly motivated Flight Attendants to join its dedicated team in [Location, if specified in source - otherwise omit]. The Flight Attendant will be an integral part of the "One Crew" team, committed to providing an exceptional customer experience and ensuring safety and service excellence across all Avelo flights.
Responsibilities

Ensure the safety, security, welfare, and comfort of all customers and crewmembers.

Respond safely and effectively to in-flight emergencies.

Contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of aircraft and flight schedules.

Complete all required incident and safety reporting in a timely manner.

Create a positive customer experience from boarding to deplaning, serving as an ambassador for the Avelo brand.

Address customer issues onboard and find creative resolutions.

Adhere to Federal Aviation Regulations and all applicable laws and procedures.

Attend all required training and maintain necessary qualifications.

Maintain a working knowledge of all company materials, including the Inflight Service Manual and Flight Attendant Playbook, ensuring all updates are current.

Cooperate and work effectively with operational crewmembers and Avelo leadership to foster customer loyalty and embody the "One Crew" value.

Treat each customer with kindness and respect.

Contribute to on-board service, sales, and revenue-generating initiatives.

Serve as a public relations ambassador for Avelo.
Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Must possess reliable transportation and the ability to report to the assigned location within two hours.

Must be able to attend and successfully complete all Avelo Flight Attendant training requirements.

Must be able to accept and relocate to a base assignment at the crewmember's own expense after training.

Must be able to work a rotating schedule with variable hours, including up to 16-hour duty days, nights, weekends, holidays, and potentially multiple days away from home.

Must present a neat professional appearance and demeanor, adhering to Avelo Inflight uniform and appearance guidelines.

Must comply with all DOT, FAA, and Avelo Airlines' regulations regarding drug and alcohol compliance.

Willing and able to serve all types of food and beverages, including alcoholic beverages.

Must maintain a current working telephone number and provide the company with an accurate and up-to-date address of residence.

Must possess a valid United States passport (or foreign passport with applicable VISAs) with at least six months of validity remaining prior to expiration.

Must have the unrestricted right to travel freely in and out of the United States to all cities served by Avelo Airlines.

Must be able to understand, speak, read, and write English fluently.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Physical Requirements

Vision must be at least 20/40 with glasses or contact lenses.

Ability to physically lift 50 pounds from ground to waist.

Ability to walk forward down the aircraft aisle without interfering with the comfort of seated customers.

Ability to be seated in a jumpseat with all belts and restraints fastened without a seatbelt extension.

Ability to maintain balance while walking and standing during flight.

Must be able to stand, sit, stoop, bend, reach, and crouch for long periods.

Ability to push or pull aircraft doors/exits or food/beverage carts with a force of up to 100 lbs.

Ability to assist customers needing assistance during an evacuation.
