About the Role
Avelo Airlines invites applications for dedicated and highly motivated full-time Flight Attendants to join its growing team of safety and service professionals. Centered on providing an exceptional customer experience, this pivotal role contributes to Avelo’s "One Crew" culture. Successful candidates must be prepared to accept and relocate to a base assignment.
As a Flight Attendant with Avelo Airlines, you will ensure the safety, security, and comfort of all customers and fellow crewmembers. This energetic role demands a commitment to upholding the highest standards of in-flight service and operational excellence.

Ensure the safety, security, welfare, and comfort of all customers and other crewmembers.

Respond safely and effectively to a broad range of in-flight emergencies.

Contribute to the smooth and efficient operations of all aircraft and flight schedules.

Create a caring customer experience on every flight, serving as an Avelo brand ambassador.

Serve as the primary point of contact for onboard customer issues, finding creative resolutions.

Be knowledgeable of and adhere to Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and company procedures.

Build customer loyalty and collaborate effectively with all operational crewmembers and Avelo leadership.

Support Avelo’s on-board service, sales, and revenue-generating initiatives.
Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Possess reliable transportation and the ability to report to an assigned location within two hours.

Successfully complete all Avelo Flight Attendant training requirements.

Be able to accept and relocate to a base assignment at the crewmember’s own expense after training.

Ability to work a rotating schedule with variable hours, including duty days up to 16 hours, nighttime or overnight hours, weekends, holidays, and multiple days away from home.

Present a neat, professional appearance and demeanor, adhering to Avelo Inflight uniform and appearance guidelines.

Comply with all DOT, FAA, and Avelo Airlines’ regulations regarding drug and alcohol compliance for safety-sensitive transportation employees.

Willingness and ability to serve all types of food and beverages, including alcoholic beverages.

Maintain a working telephone number and keep the address of residence current with the company.

Possess a valid United States passport (or foreign passport with applicable VISAs) with at least six months validity remaining prior to expiration.

Have the unrestricted right to travel freely in and out of the United States, to and from all cities served by Avelo Airlines, including Canada.

Must be able to understand, speak, read, and write English fluently.

Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Qualifications

Vision of at least 20/40 with glasses or contact lenses.

Ability to physically lift 50 pounds from ground to waist.

Capable of walking forward down the aircraft aisle without interfering with the comfort of seated customers.

Ability to be seated in a jumpseat with all belts/restraints fastened, without the use of a seatbelt extension.

Maintain balance while walking and standing during flight.
-
Capable of standing, sitting, stooping, bending, reaching, and crouching for long periods of time.

Ability to push or pull aircraft doors/exits, or food/beverage carts with a force of up to 100 lbs.

Ability to assist customers needing assistance during an evacuation.
