The Pilot Role: Operational Leadership and Safety

Amerijet seeks highly professional, safety-conscious Pilots who embody operational leadership. Operate the aircraft across diverse global climates and locations, accommodating variable shift work and unpredictable schedules.

Minimum Professional Pilot Qualifications

Candidates applying for the Pilot position must meet the following essential requirements:

Hold a current, unrestricted Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with an airplane category multi-engine class rating and the requisite English proficiency endorsement.
Hold a valid, current First Class Medical Certificate.
Hold an FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
Hold a valid, unrestricted passport.
Must be within the age limits as defined by the FAA FAR Part 121 regulations.
Possess a minimum of 1500 hours of total fixed-wing pilot time.
Distance vision corrected to 20/20 and near vision corrected to 20/40 or better in each eye.
Must be able to fluently speak, read, and understand English.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to make quick and accurate decisions.
Possess close attention to detail and a commitment to operational compliance.
Ability to work varying hours of the day or night, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to learn and work proficiently with Electronic Flight Bags (EFBs).

Student Pathway Qualifications (Student Pilot Program)

For students seeking entry into the associated Student Pilot Program, the following preliminary qualifications are required for interview consideration:

Possess a Private Pilot Certificate with an Instrument rating.
Submit a completed application and two character references.

Selected students will be enrolled in the program and must successfully complete subsequent requirements, which include obtaining a Commercial Pilot Certificate with a Multi-Engine rating and obtaining a Certified Flight Instructor certificate as required for employment at U.S. Aviation.
