Position Overview

Reporting directly to the Chief Pilot, the First Officer provides guidance and coordinates the activities of personnel involved in every phase of aircraft operation. This position offers a minimum guarantee of 72 hours per month. The ideal candidate will embody the company’s values and culture while collaborating effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintains operational responsibility to the Captain on all flights and performs flight duties as assigned.
  • Coordinates activities and provides guidance to personnel during all phases of aircraft operation to ensure the safety of passengers and cargo.
  • Maintains a current first-class medical certificate and proactively notifies leadership of any medical conditions that may impair flight performance.
  • Assumes the authority to act on behalf of the Captain should the Captain become incapacitated.
  • Maintains a comprehensive knowledge of the Captain’s duties and responsibilities to accept delegation when necessary.
  • Demonstrates a thorough understanding of all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).

Minimum Qualifications

  • Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) License.
  • FAA first-class medical certificate (or the ability to obtain one prior to training).
  • Valid driver’s license and a valid passport.
  • English proficiency consistent with at least an ICAO Level 4 endorsement.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States (U.S. Passport or Green Card holder).
  • Impeccable safety and training record.
  • Ability to pass drug and alcohol background checks, pre-employment DOT drug testing, and a criminal history records check (CHRC).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Type-rating on multi-engine aircraft, specifically B-767/757 or B-777.
  • Previous B-767 FAR 121 experience.
  • Experience in Crew Resource Management (CRM).

  • Flexibility to travel as required.
  • Schedule flexibility to work days, swings, midnight shifts, and holidays, with work schedules bid by seniority.
