First Officer (SIC)
The organization seeks highly qualified and professional candidates for the role of First Officer (FO). The First Officer operates as the critical Second-in-Command (SIC), ensuring the highest levels of safety, compliance, and efficiency during all flight operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The First Officer is responsible for executing the following key functions in collaboration with the Pilot-in-Command:
- Operating as the designated Second-in-Command (SIC), performing all associated duties in strict accordance with the established Company Standardization Program.
- Ensuring meticulous adherence and compliance with all Company procedures, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, directives, and protocols governing all proposed flight operations.
- Maintaining the highest standard of operational safety by immediately alerting the Pilot-in-Command to any deviation from established company policies, federal regulations, or recognized safe operating practices.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
Successful candidates must demonstrate the ability to achieve and maintain the following credentials:
- Possession of, or the immediate ability to obtain, a Commercial Pilot License with requisite Instrument and Multi-Engine ratings.
- The ability to secure and hold a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate is mandatory.
- Must maintain the ability to obtain and retain a valid, current Passport, required for all potential international operations.
- Possession of, or the ability to rapidly obtain, an FCC Restricted Radio Operator’s Permit.
