The Position: Beechcraft 1900 Captain
Ameriflight is seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional to serve as a Captain Pilot in the Beechcraft 1900 (BE-1900) aircraft.
- Equipment: Captain, Beechcraft 1900 (BE-1900).
- Domicile: Outstation domiciled in Midland, TX (MAF).
- Schedule: Operating a nightly route to Lubbock, TX (LBB) Monday through Friday evenings, returning the following morning.
- Accommodation: Hotel accommodations provided in LBB.
- Compensation: Starting annual salary of $87,006.

Essential Pilot Requirements
Prospective Captains must meet the following minimum qualifications and operational requirements:
- Must satisfy FAR 135.243(c) requirements for Pilot in Command (PIC) in Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) conditions.
- Minimum Flight Hours:
- Total Time (TT): 1,800 hours
- Pilot in Command (PIC): 1,000 hours
- Cross-Country (XC, defined as point-to-point): 500 hours
- Multi-Engine: 250 hours
- Turbine: 100 hours
- Instrument: 100 hours (with a minimum of 50 hours in actual aircraft)
- Night: 100 hours
- Prior FAR 121 or FAR 135 operational experience is mandatory.
- Must possess an Instrument Proficiency Check (IPC) or FAR 121/135 recurrent training completed within the past six months.
- Required Licenses and Documents:
- Commercial Pilot License Multi-Engine Land with Instrument Rating, including high performance and complex endorsements.
- First Class or Second Class Medical Certificate (First Class required for international operations).
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Valid Current Passport.
- Must be proficient in the English language.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. and capable of traveling unrestricted into and out of the U.S.
- Must successfully meet all airport badging requirements, including passing a TSA Security background check.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License and satisfy all company insurance criteria.
