Pilot - Aerial Patrol

American Patrols, Inc. seeks a highly motivated and dedicated pilot to join its team, contributing to its mission in the oil fields of West Texas and Southeast New Mexico. This role offers challenging and rewarding flying experiences, ideal for building flight time and enhancing skills.

The pilot will conduct low-level, VFR patrols in a Cessna 172. The position requires unwavering commitment and dedication, as the successful candidate will be an integral part of the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct aerial patrols of designated areas.
  • Maintain proficiency and currency in a Cessna 172.
  • Exercise impeccable stick and rudder skills.
  • Demonstrate a high level of situational awareness.
  • Adhere to a safety-oriented attitude in all operations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 400 hours of total flight time.
  • Commercial Single-Engine Land certificate.
  • Instrument Rating.
  • Previous commercial pilot experience preferred.
  • CFI rating highly preferred.
  • Comfortable operating in high winds and on small runways.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Starting pay is $23.00 per hour, equivalent to over $30,000 per year based on typical flight time accrual.
  • 50% employer-covered health insurance for the employee.
  • Affordable housing available via corporate apartment, with a private room provided.
  • Schedule includes 12 days off per month.

Contract Details:

  • Fifteen-month contract required, with a completion bonus.

This is a full-time, non-management position.
