Job Purpose
The Cabin Crew member acts as an ambassador for Air Arabia, striving to cultivate customer loyalty and promote a positive corporate image by enhancing the overall passenger experience. They provide exceptional customer service while ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. They must maintain readiness and fitness to operate, ensuring productivity aligns with established measures and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct: Ensures timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legal compliance for assigned flights. Attends briefings to acknowledge flight details, role assignments, targets, security checks, and boarding procedures.
- Safety Measures: Instructs passengers on safety procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times. Identifies safety and security risks and collaborates with the Cabin Supervisor to implement remedial actions in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Administers first aid to passengers when necessary. Informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain promptly of any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Customer Service: Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities. Enters necessary data into the aircraft log book according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures. Provides constant, excellent customer service by attending to individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs. Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to the Operations Manual and other relevant instructions. Contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, achieving individual and team targets. Ensures proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received for individual sales and donations.
- Crosschecking and Reports: Conducts pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified items are available before takeoff. Reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain as appropriate. Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided before flying. Ensures orderly handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff. Completes post-flight briefings and assessment reports as per established policies and procedures. Provides objective evaluation of the Cabin Supervisor and reports any problems or discrepancies during the flight, including the closing and sealing of duty-free containers. Accounts to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct and assumes the duties of 'Cabin Supervisor' when designated by the Captain. Maintains professional and safety knowledge through recurrent training, emergency procedure training, and educational workshops, ensuring license currency. Contributes to team success by accomplishing related results and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.

- Age: 20 to 30 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportional to age and height
- Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically and physically fit to perform cabin crew duties
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device
Qualifications
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is preferred.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is advantageous.
- Fit to fly with good general health; free from serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines/Aviation/Hospitality industries is an advantage.
- Possession of an active cabin crew license is a plus.
- Capable of working in shift patterns and for extended hours.
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute to and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
