Air Arabia - Cabin Crew Opportunity

Air Arabia is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join its team as Cabin Crew. The successful candidate will serve as an ambassador for Air Arabia, fostering customer loyalty and promoting a positive corporate image by enhancing the overall customer experience. He/She will provide excellent customer service to all passengers, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle, while maintaining readiness and fitness to operate efficiently in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legality for assigned flights. Attends briefings to acknowledge flight details, roles, targets, and security checks.
  • Instructs passengers on safety procedures to guarantee their safety and comfort at all times.
  • Identifies safety and security risks, partnering with the Cabin Supervisor to take corrective action according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Administers first aid to passengers when necessary.
  • Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
  • Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities, entering necessary data into the aircraft log book according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
  • Delivers exceptional customer service by addressing individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
  • Identifies and supports passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to policies and procedures in the Operations Manual.
  • Maximizes on-board revenue and promotes the "Charity Cloud" program by efficiently promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, achieving individual and team targets.
  • Ensures proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received from individual sales and donations.
  • Conducts pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, and catering equipment, reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain.
  • Assists in maintaining a thoroughly cleaned aircraft cabin at transit stations and ensures adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided.
  • Ensures orderly handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
  • Completes post-flight briefing and assessment reports as per policies, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor and reporting any flight problems or discrepancies.
  • Accounts to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct and carries out the duties of "Cabin Supervisor" when designated by the Captain.
  • Maintains professional and safety knowledge through recurrent training, emergency procedures training, and educational workshops, ensuring a current license.
  • Contributes to team success by achieving related results and allocated sales targets.

Important Requirements:

  • Age: Between 20 and 33 years
  • Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 170 cm (Male)
  • Weight: Proportionate to Age and Height
  • Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform
  • Medically/Physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
  • Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is preferred.
  • Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an advantage.
  • Fit to fly with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Must be fluent in written and spoken English.

Work Experience:

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role in the Airlines/Aviation/Hospitality industries is an advantage.
  • Active cabin crew license is an advantage.
  • Capable of working in shift patterns and for extended working hours.
  • Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
  • Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
