Cabin Crew / Flight Attendant

Job Purpose
The Cabin Crew member acts as a key ambassador for the airline, dedicated to fostering customer loyalty and consistently promoting a positive corporate image. The role involves enhancing the overall customer experience by providing excellent service to all passengers while ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. The individual is expected to be ready and fit to operate, maintaining productivity in line with established measures and company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct:
- Ensures timely attendance, presents a professional appearance through proper grooming, maintains personal fitness, and confirms compliance with all legal requirements for assigned flights.
- Participates actively in pre-flight briefings to understand flight details, acknowledge assigned roles, targets, security checks, and boarding procedures.
Safety Measures:
- Instructs passengers on essential safety procedures, prioritizing their safety and comfort at all times.
- Identifies potential safety and security risks and collaborates with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administers first aid to passengers requiring medical assistance.
- Reports any irregularities or malfunctions promptly to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, or Captain as appropriate.
Customer Service:
- Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities, accurately entering necessary data into the aircraft log book according to airline and regulatory procedures.
- Provides consistently excellent customer service by attending to passengers' pre-bookings, individual requests, and needs.
- Identifies and offers assistance to passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following the guidelines in the Operations Manual and other relevant instructions.
- Contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and the 'Charity Cloud' program through effective promotion of on-board meals, products, and charitable services, working towards individual and team sales targets.
- Ensures the proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received from sales and donations.
Crosschecking and Reports:
- Conducts comprehensive pre-flight checks to verify sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering, and other specified equipment are on board before departure, reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain.
- Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned during transit and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are available before the next flight segment.
- Manages the orderly and complete handover and takeover of the cabin from and to catering, cleaning, and maintenance staff.
- Participates in post-flight briefings and completes assessment reports according to established policies, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor, reporting flight problems or discrepancies, and ensuring duty-free containers are properly closed and sealed.
- Reports on passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor and is prepared to perform the duties of Cabin Supervisor when designated by the Captain.
- Maintains required professional and safety knowledge and skills through recurrent training, emergency procedures training, educational workshops, and ensuring the validity of licenses.
- Contributes effectively to team goals by achieving assigned sales targets and objectives.
Essential Requirements
- Age between 20 to 33 years.
- Minimum height of 160 cm for female candidates and 170 cm for male candidates.
- Weight must be in proportion to age and height.
- Clear skin without visible marks or tattoos when wearing the cabin crew uniform.
- Must be medically and physically fit to perform all Cabin Crew duties.
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is required; a diploma in Travel or Tourism is considered advantageous.
- Training certifications in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures are an added value.
- Must be fit to fly, possess good general health, and have no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is necessary.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines, Aviation, or Hospitality industries is considered beneficial.
- Possession of an active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Capable of working flexible shift patterns and extended working hours.
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and demanding schedules.
- Ability to contribute to and successfully deliver against established policies, procedures, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
