Cabin Crew
A leading airline invites applications for the position of Cabin Crew. The Cabin Crew serves as a key ambassador for the airline, dedicated to fostering customer loyalty and upholding a positive corporate image. Cabin Crew members must be prepared and fit for duty, operating efficiently in alignment with company standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct:
- Ensures timely reporting, maintains professional grooming, physical fitness, and complies with all legal requirements for assigned flights.
- Attends pre-flight briefings to confirm understanding of flight specifics, assigned roles, targets, security protocols, and boarding procedures.
Safety Measures:
- Instructs passengers on necessary safety procedures, prioritizing their security and well-being throughout the flight.
- Identifies potential safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement appropriate actions according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administers first aid to passengers when required.
- Reports any irregularities or malfunctions promptly to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain as necessary.
Customer Service:
- Welcomes passengers warmly and assists with boarding processes. Records necessary data in the aircraft log book following airline and regulatory guidelines.
- Provides consistently excellent customer service, attending to passenger pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identifies and assists passengers experiencing difficulties or stress, adhering to procedures detailed in the Operations Manual and related instructions.
- Actively contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and supporting charity initiatives by effectively promoting products, meals, and services, working towards individual and team sales goals.
- Ensures the proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments for sales and donations.
Crosschecking and Reports:
- Performs pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering, and other required items are on board before departure. Reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain.
- Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned during transit stops and that adequate catering and duty-free stocks are replenished before the next flight segment.
- Conducts an orderly and complete handover or takeover of the cabin to or from catering, cleaning, or maintenance staff.
- Completes post-flight briefings and assessment reports according to company policies. This includes providing objective feedback on the Cabin Supervisor, reporting flight issues or discrepancies, and securing duty-free containers.
- Reports passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor and performs the duties of Cabin Supervisor when designated by the Captain.
- Maintains required professional knowledge and safety competence by attending recurrent training, emergency procedures training, and workshops, ensuring all licenses are current.
- Contributes to team success by achieving assigned sales targets and supporting overall objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age: Between 20 and 33 years.
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 170 cm (Male).
- Weight: Should be in proportion to age and height.
- Must have clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos when wearing the cabin crew uniform.
- Required to be medically and physically fit to perform cabin crew duties.
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device is necessary.
Qualifications (Academic, Training, Languages):
- Acceptable qualifications include a Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; a diploma in Travel or Tourism is advantageous.
- Certifications in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures are considered a plus.
- Must be fit to fly, possessing good general health without serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
- Language: Fluent written and spoken English is essential.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines, Aviation, or Hospitality sectors is beneficial.
- Possession of an active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Capability to work flexible shift patterns and extended hours is required.
- Demonstrates high levels of flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy operational schedules.
- Proven ability to contribute effectively and meet performance targets aligned with established policies, procedures, and KPIs.
