Job Purpose

The Cabin Crew member serves as an ambassador, dedicated to cultivating customer loyalty and promoting a positive corporate image by consistently enhancing the overall passenger experience. This role involves providing exceptional customer service while diligently ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers throughout every stage of the flight cycle. The Cabin Crew member must maintain readiness and fitness for duty, ensuring productivity aligns with company standards and procedures.

Key Result Responsibilities

Conduct:

  1. Ensures punctual attendance, impeccable grooming, physical fitness, and compliance with all legal requirements for assigned flights.
  2. Attends pre-flight briefings to confirm understanding of flight details, role assignments, targets, security checks, boarding procedures, and other relevant information.

Safety Measures:

  1. Instructs passengers on essential safety procedures, prioritizing their safety and comfort at all times.
  2. Identifies potential safety and security risks and collaborates with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  3. Administers first aid to passengers as necessary.
  4. Promptly reports any irregularities or malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain as appropriate.

Customer Service:

  1. Greets passengers warmly and assists with boarding formalities, including entering required data into the aircraft log book in line with adopted procedures.
  2. Provides continuous excellent customer service by attending to individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
  3. Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to relevant policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and other instructions.
  4. Contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and supporting the “Charity Cloud” program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, thereby contributing to individual and team targets.
  5. Ensures accurate and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received from sales and donations managed by the crew member.

Crosschecking and Reports:

  1. Conducts thorough pre-flight checks to verify the sufficiency of supplies, emergency equipment, catering provisions, and other specified items before departure; reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain.
  2. Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is meticulously cleaned during transit stops and that adequate re-catering supplies and duty-free products are restocked before subsequent flights.
  3. Ensures an orderly and complete handover or takeover of the cabin to or from catering, cleaning, and maintenance personnel.
  4. Completes post-flight briefings and assessment reports according to established policies and procedures, including providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor, reporting flight problems or discrepancies, and securing duty-free containers.
  5. Reports passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor and is capable of undertaking the duties of Cabin Supervisor when designated by the Captain.
  6. Maintains required professional and safety knowledge by participating in recurrent training, emergency procedures courses, educational workshops, and ensuring the currency of any necessary licenses.
  7. Contributes effectively to team goals by achieving related results and meeting allocated sales targets and objectives.

Important Requirements

  • Age must be between 20 and 33 years.
  • Minimum height requirement: 160 cm for females, 170 cm for males.
  • Weight should be proportionate to age and height.
  • Candidate must have clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos when wearing the cabin crew uniform.
  • Must be medically and physically fit to perform all Cabin Crew duties.
  • Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device is required.

Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)

  • Possession of a Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is acceptable; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is considered advantageous.
  • Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an added value.
  • Candidate must be fit to fly, possess good general health, and have no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English is mandatory.

Work Experience

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines, Aviation, or Hospitality industries is considered an added value.
  • Holding an active cabin crew license is an advantage.
  • Candidate must be capable of working flexible shift patterns and extended hours.
  • Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
  • Proven ability to contribute to and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
