The Opportunity

Smartwings is actively seeking highly skilled and experienced Airbus A320 Captains to assume a critical leadership role within their expansive European operations and beyond. Compensation and Benefits Package

Smartwings offers a competitive and comprehensive remuneration package designed to reward experienced Captains:

  • A guaranteed minimum monthly payment structure.
  • Exceptional potential earnings exceeding EUR 16,000 per month, based on 85 flying hours.
  • A daily per diem of EUR 75 paid for each day spent on location.
  • Additional compensation provided for duties performed on rostered days off.
  • All hotel accommodation is fully provided throughout the 20-day working rotation.
  • A generous monthly travel allowance of EUR 500.
  • Access to MyID travel benefits, extended to the Captain and four designated family members for the contract duration.

Essential Role Requirements

Applicants must meet stringent criteria to ensure EASA compliance and operational readiness:

  • The unrestricted right to live and work within the European Union (EU).
  • Possession of a current and valid EASA Pilot License.
  • Must hold a current A320 Type Rating.
  • A minimum of 3,500 hours total flying time.
  • A minimum of 1,000 Pilot in Command (PIC) hours on the A320 type.
  • Evidence of flight recency within the last 12 months.
  • A valid License Proficiency Check (LPC) maintained at the commencement of the contract (OCC).
  • English Language Proficiency (ELP) certification at Level 4 or higher.
  • Availability for assessment between November 10th and 14th.
  • Required availability for contract commencement by mid-November 2025.

  3. Mandatory Simulator Check.
  4. Comprehensive Psychology Screening.
  5. Formal English Language Test.
  6. Final Interview stage with Smartwings management.
