Chief Pilot - ACI Jet
ACI Jet is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Chief Pilot to uphold the professional standards of flight crews and implement and maintain flight operations policies and procedures in collaboration with the Director of Operations. This role involves operating ACI Jet aircraft alongside performing essential office duties. The Chief Pilot reports directly to the Director of Flight Operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Supervising and managing flight crews in coordination with the Director of Operations.
- Hiring, terminating, and assigning crewmembers to duty positions.
- Supervising Dispatch personnel regarding compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinating with Dispatch personnel in assigning crew to trips.
- Supervising the Director of Training regarding all training activities of flight crew, dispatchers, and cabin crew.
- Assisting the Director of Operations in formulating and implementing operations policies and procedures.
- Assisting with adding and removing aircraft from ACI Jet’s certificate and ensuring that the aircraft are properly equipped for applicable operations.
- Ensuring proper documentation is onboard all aircraft.
- Maintaining aircraft and crew profiles with various entities.
- Maintaining aircraft weight and balance program.
- Submitting all requested reports regarding flight personnel to the Director of Operations.
- Ensuring that all flight crew personnel are qualified and current in accordance with ACI Jet’s Operations Specifications and the Applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Ensuring that all aerodromes and routes served by ACI Jet are operationally suitable and meet ACI Jet standards and requirements.
- Disseminating information to all crewmembers pertaining to routes, airports, NOTAMS, NAVAIDS, company policies, and regulations.
- Having authority to act for the Certificate holder, including the signing of FAA correspondence and operations specifications.
- Managing ACI Jet’s MEL program.
- Maintaining proficiency as Pilot-in-Command (PIC), complying with all FARs, Operations Specifications, Company Policies, and Company Procedures.
- Providing exceptional courtesy, professionalism, and customer service to ACI Jet charter clients and owners.
- Remaining knowledgeable relative to the applicable portions of the ACI Jet Air Carrier Operations Manual (ACOM).
- Maintaining a close, productive, and beneficial relationship with ACI Jet personnel.
- Ensuring the safety and quality of all assigned duties and responsibilities by actively and positively participating in ACI Jet’s SMS program.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:
- Minimum of 5000 hours total flight time.
- International and oceanic operations experience.
- 3+ years of leadership/management experience.
- Meets all required qualifications stated in CFR Part 119.71.
- Current and valid Pilot’s Certificate with an English proficient endorsement.
- Valid ATP rating.
- Ability to maintain a First Class Medical.
- Ability to maintain a valid Passport.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or 3-5 years of professional aviation experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
- Highly motivated, organized, and attentive to detail.
- Extremely computer proficient.
- Knowledgeable of all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb, kneel, squat, sit, and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- No violation of FAA regulations within the last five (5) years.
Highly Desirable:
- Chief Pilot Experience
- Prior FAR Part 135 experience.
- Bombardier, Cessna, or Gulfstream operating experience.
This position is a DOT Safety Sensitive position, requiring participation in a random drug test pool. The Chief Pilot may perform on-call duties and will require the candidate to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
