Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required
- Total Flight Time: A minimum of 3,000 hours of total flight time is required.
- Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Time: Candidates must possess at least 1,000 hours of PIC time.
- Multi-Engine Experience: A minimum of 1,000 hours of multi-engine flight experience is essential.
- Turbine Aircraft Experience: Candidates are expected to have accumulated at least 1,000 hours of turbine aircraft experience.
- Type Rating: A specific type rating is not mandatory, as comprehensive training will be provided.
- Flight Time Specifics: The required 1,000 hours of command time must be factorised and acquired on medium to heavy commercial multi-crew, multi-engine jet aircraft.
- Required License: A valid Airline Transport Pilot's License (ATPL) is a prerequisite.
- License Issuing Authority: Applicants holding a UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) license are eligible.
- Medical Certificate: A current Class 1 Medical Certificate is mandatory.
- ICAO English Language Proficiency: Candidates must demonstrate an ICAO English Language Proficiency (ELP) level of 5 or higher.
