Operational Overview
Jet2 operations feature self-handled UK bases and an in-house ATO with two training centres. The B737 schedule consists almost exclusively of two-sector days, with full-time Captains flying an average of fewer than 750 hours per year. Captains also have the opportunity to pursue over 20 secondary roles within the training, technical, and pastoral teams.
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for the position of Boeing 737 Captain, candidates must meet the following criteria:

3,000 hours total flying time, including 1,000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) on B737 or similar-sized jet aircraft (large jet command time within the last 3 years is desirable).

A valid UK unfrozen Flight Crew Licence.

A current B737 Type Rating.

Minimum English Language Proficiency Level 5.

A current Class One Medical.
