Western Global Airlines - Aviation Position
Western Global Airlines seeks highly qualified candidates for a demanding yet rewarding aviation position. The ideal candidate will possess:
- Minimum Flight Time: 2500 total flight hours.
- Preferred Flight Time: 1000 hours of Part 121 flight time, with up to 500 hours of military flight time as Pilot in Command (PIC) of a multi-engine, turbine-powered, fixed-wing aircraft being applicable toward this requirement. Experience as PIC under § 135.243(a)(1) or § 91.1053(a)(2)(i) is also acceptable.
- Licenses and Certifications: An FAA-issued Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate and a Class 1 medical certificate are mandatory. A FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit is also required.
- Experience: While a type rating is not required (training will be provided), prior experience with MD-11 or Airbus aircraft is highly desirable. A college degree in Aviation or a related field is also preferred.
- Background and Suitability: Candidates must possess a valid passport permitting unrestricted international travel, and be able to pass a DOT pre-employment drug test and a comprehensive 10-year background check. A clean safety record, free of accidents or incidents, is essential.
