First Officer CRJ-200

Voyageur Aviation Corp., an integrated provider of specialized aviation services and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chorus Aviation Inc., seeks a qualified First Officer CRJ-200 to join its Flight Operations team. Reporting to the Director, Flight Operations, the First Officer will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the company's CRJ fleet, supporting overseas bases throughout Africa and the Middle East.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate as Second-in-Command on company aircraft, providing support to the Pilot-in-Command.
  • Maintain operational control parameters throughout flights.
  • Maintain on-time performance and accomplish flight objectives.
  • Ensure the safe operation of company aircraft, ensuring the security of passengers, crew, aircraft, and cargo.
  • Liaise with the Pilot-in-Command, Voyageur’s Dispatch department, ATC, FSS, and customers.
  • Ensure all necessary maps, charts, and navigation equipment are readily available on the aircraft.
  • Maintain qualifications required to crew CRJ aircraft.
  • Actively participate in safety briefings and utilize Voyageur’s Safety and Risk Management system.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, air regulations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Complete all required operational paperwork as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a valid CPL or ATPL.
  • CL65 Type Rating.
  • Minimum 2,000 hours total flight time.
  • Minimum 750 hours Pilot-in-Command time.
  • Minimum 300 hours of time on type on a CL65 aircraft.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to identify solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Willing to work a flexible rotation schedule.
  • Possess a valid passport and be able to travel internationally unrestricted.
