The Ideal Captain Profile
Volotea seeks highly skilled and dedicated Captains who possess exceptional technical proficiency and strong non-technical competencies required for safe and effective flight operations.
Mandatory Qualifications and Experience:
- Possession of a valid EASA FCL ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License).
- Unrestricted EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- A minimum accumulated flight experience of 5,000 flight hours, which must include at least 500 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
- English language proficiency equivalent to or exceeding ICAO Level 4.
- Valid EU Passport.
- No history of involvement in accidents or serious incidents.
Essential Competencies:
- A consistently high standard of teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated critical thinking abilities necessary to recognize and effectively solve complex operational problems.
- Proven adaptability and strong motivation toward successful completion of the A320 type rating course.
- Effective conflict management skills.
