Role Overview: Captain - Cessna Citation Mustang (C510)

Astonjet is seeking a motivated and professional Captain to join its Cessna Citation Mustang (C510) fleet. This role is responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the aircraft. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to high operational standards, a service-oriented mindset, and a genuine interest in MEDEVAC operations. Key Duties and Responsibilities

The Captain is responsible for the overall safe conduct of charter and MEDEVAC flights, ensuring passenger comfort and strict adherence to organizational service standards. Core responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive pre-flight and post-flight aircraft inspections.
  • Managing all aspects of flight preparation, including weather analysis, performance calculations, and weight and balance documentation.
  • Operating the aircraft in full compliance with EASA regulations and internal company procedures.
  • Maintaining effective communication with ground personnel, operational teams, and the flight crew.
  • Upholding a professional cockpit environment and participating in mandatory recurrent training and proficiency checks to maintain regulatory compliance.

Candidate Requirements

  • Licensing: EASA ATPL or CPL/IRME license.
  • Type Rating: Cessna Citation Mustang (C510) rating is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1,000 total flight hours, including at least 500 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) and 100 hours of Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) experience.
  • Language Proficiency:
    • French: ICAO Level 6 (mandatory).
    • English: ICAO Level 5 (mandatory).
  • Competencies: High level of availability, flexibility, and strong interpersonal skills suitable for a premium business aviation environment.
