The Role: Captain on Cessna Citation Mustang

Astonjet is actively recruiting a qualified Captain for the Cessna Citation Mustang (C510), open to both rated and non-rated candidates. The successful Captain will be entrusted with the paramount responsibility of ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the aircraft. Duties and Responsibilities

The Captain will be responsible for operating charter and MEDEVAC flights, demanding a high degree of operational flexibility. They will ensure the safe conduct of all flights, prioritize passenger comfort, and meticulously adhere to Astonjet’s operational and service standards throughout every phase of operation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections.
  • Performing comprehensive flight preparations, encompassing documentation review, weather analysis, and detailed performance, weight, and balance calculations.
  • Operating the aircraft in strict compliance with all applicable regulations and company procedures.
  • Maintaining clear and effective communication channels with the flight crew, ground staff, and operational teams.

The Captain will actively foster a safe, professional, and positive cockpit environment. They will consistently uphold the company's elevated service standards and engage in recurrent training and proficiency checks to maintain expertise, qualifications, and regulatory compliance.

Job Requirements

  • EASA ATPL License or CPL/IRME Licence.
  • Cessna Citation Mustang C510 type rating is highly valued but not mandatory.
  • Minimum of 1000 total flight hours, with at least 500 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) and 100 hours in Instrument Flight Rules (IFR).
  • Language Proficiency:
    • French: ICAO Level 6 mandatory.
    • English: ICAO Level 5 mandatory.
