Leader Crew Culture - Inflight Experience

This position requires a dynamic individual to lead, support, and develop a team of dedicated customer service professionals across cabin operations. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with Virgin Australia Group policies, maximizing team potential and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Providing visible leadership to a team of approximately 130 team members.
- Collaborating with Customer Experience Managers to ensure a consistently positive Virgin experience for all passengers.
- Proactively supporting and managing the health and well-being of all team members.
- Working closely with People Partners to achieve positive outcomes in all personnel matters.
- Developing and monitoring team member performance, aligned with Virgin Australia's strategic vision and purpose.
- Cultivating an environment of strong teamwork, motivation, and engagement.
- Responding effectively and proactively to emerging people matters that may impact operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum Year 12 qualifications or equivalent.
- Proven leadership experience in managing large, diverse teams within a fast-paced business environment.
- Expertise in leading remote workforces to achieve positive personal and business outcomes.
- Experience in cabin operations within the aviation industry.
- Demonstrated people leadership skills and a strong ability to influence and engage business leaders.
- High emotional intelligence, with the ability to read, monitor, and understand behaviors to positively influence outcomes.
- Proven ability to drive positive customer outcomes through a large, diverse workforce.
- Strong understanding of Enterprise Bargaining Agreements and the ability to work within their scope.
- In-depth knowledge of change management principles, techniques, and tools.
