Position Overview
The Leader Crew Culture - Sydney (Inflight Experience) is responsible for leading, supporting, coaching, and developing a team of customer service professionals across cabin operations. This role ensures compliance with all Virgin Australia Group policies, maximizing the team's potential and delivering memorable customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a team of approximately 130 team members.
- Collaborate with Customer Experience Managers to ensure the team delivers a truly Virgin experience.
- Proactively support and manage the health and well-being of all team members.
- Work closely with leadership and People Partners to achieve positive outcomes on all people matters.
- Develop and monitor team member performance in alignment with Virgin Australia's strategic vision and purpose.
- Drive motivation and engagement, fostering an environment of strong teamwork.
- Be responsive and solution-focused to emerging people matters impacting operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum Year 12 qualifications or equivalent.
- Proven leadership experience in leading large, diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience leading remote workforces to achieve positive personal and business outcomes.
- Aviation experience in cabin operations.
- Trusted people leadership capability.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and engage business leaders.
- Strong emotional intelligence, with the ability to understand and respond to diverse behaviors to achieve positive outcomes.
- Ability to drive positive customer outcomes through a large, diverse workforce.
- Visible leadership skills.
- A strong understanding of working within the scope of an Enterprise Bargaining Agreements.
- Strong understanding of change management principles, techniques, and tools.
