Position Overview
This role presents an exciting opportunity to join Virgin Atlantic Airways as a First Officer or Senior First Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for demonstrating exceptional aircraft handling skills, in-depth procedural and technical knowledge, and strong leadership qualities.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate exceptional aircraft handling ability.
- Possess extensive procedural and technical knowledge.
- Exhibit strong leadership skills and outstanding human factors understanding.
- Deliver consistent operational excellence in the air, maintaining high safety standards.
- Lead the operation with a commitment to value-based decision-making, both in the air and on the ground.

Requirements
- Minimum 1500 hours (FO) / 3000 hours (SFO) of flight time on a multi-pilot turbojet or a multi-pilot turbo-prop aeroplane, with a maximum take-off mass of not less than 10 tonnes or a certificated passenger seating configuration of more than 19 passengers.
- Current and Qualified on the A320, A330 or A350.
- Current UK Class One Medical.
- Unfrozen ATPL licence issued by the UK CAA, with a valid type rating when joining.
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of proficiency in English (certified as ICAO level 6 English Proficiency when applying).
