First Officer/Senior First Officer – Airbus
Virgin Atlantic Airways is seeking highly motivated and skilled First Officers and Senior First Officers to join their team, operating Airbus fleets from London Heathrow. The successful candidate will uphold the highest professional and safety standards while delivering exceptional journeys for customers. He or she will lead the operation, making values-based decisions both in the air and on the ground.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate excellent aircraft handling abilities, extensive procedural and technical knowledge, strong leadership, and outstanding human factors skills. The First Officer or Senior First Officer will maintain high safety standards and consistently deliver operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1500 flight hours (First Officer) or 3000 flight hours (Senior First Officer) on a multi-pilot turbojet or turbo-prop airplane with a maximum take-off mass of at least 10 tonnes or a passenger seating configuration of more than 19.
- Current and qualified on the A320, A330, or A350.
- Hold a current UK Class One Medical Certificate.
- Possess an unfrozen ATPL license issued by the UK CAA with a valid type rating at the time of joining.
- Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in English, certified as ICAO Level 6.
