Position Summary: Hawker 900XP Pilot
Vantage Aviation is seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious pilot to join its esteemed team, operating the Hawker 900XP. This critical role entails the paramount responsibility for the safe, efficient, and professional operation of the aircraft. The pilot will ensure strict adherence to all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, company operational procedures, and maintain an unwavering commitment to superior customer service. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, collaborative team player dedicated to achieving operational excellence and upholding the highest standards of professionalism in business aviation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct flight operations safely and efficiently, in strict compliance with FAA regulations and established company policies.
- Perform all pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight duties diligently, including comprehensive flight planning, detailed weather analysis, and thorough aircraft inspections.
- Verify and ensure the airworthiness and proper configuration of the aircraft for each mission, including meticulous fuel planning and accurate weight and balance calculations.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with Air Traffic Control (ATC) and ground personnel throughout all flight operations.
- Maintain precise and organized flight logs, operational reports, and required records.
- Deliver an exceptional and personalized service experience to passengers, prioritizing their comfort, safety, and ensuring absolute discretion.
- Collaborate seamlessly with the co-pilot (if applicable), maintenance teams, and flight operations personnel to ensure optimal flight readiness.
- Maintain currency and qualification in all required aircraft systems, regulatory knowledge, and operational procedures through continuous training and recurrent proficiency checks.
Working Conditions
- Frequent travel is required, including extended overnight stays and international assignments.
- Availability for on-call duties, including weekends and holidays, is essential.
- Capability to assist with baggage and equipment loading and unloading as needed.
- Extended periods will be spent operating within the aircraft cockpit environment.

Requirements
- Possess a current FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
- Hold a valid, current First Class Medical Certificate.
- Hawker 900XP Type Rating is strongly preferred; candidates willing to obtain the rating through company-sponsored training will be considered.
- Minimum flight experience:
- 1,500 total flight hours.
- 500 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC).
- Turbine/Jet aircraft experience is preferred.
- Experience operating under Part 91 and/or Part 135 regulations is preferred.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of FAA regulations, airspace procedures, and aviation safety protocols.
- Possess a valid U.S. passport and the ability to travel internationally without restriction.
- Exhibit excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Maintain a strong customer service orientation and a high level of discretion when interacting with high-net-worth individuals or managing sensitive operations.
- Note: This position is not home-based. Candidates must reside within a one-hour commute of KFCI or be willing to relocate.
