Pilot in Command – Hawker 900XP

Jet Linx Aviation is actively seeking experienced and qualified Pilot in Command candidates to join their team. This full-time opportunity involves operating midsize jet aircraft for both Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations. Candidates are expected to reside within a two-hour call-out time of their designated home base or be willing to relocate.

Position Summary

The Pilot in Command (PIC) is a key leadership role, reporting directly to the Base Chief Pilot. The primary responsibility of the PIC is to prepare for and ensure the safe, efficient, and regulatory-compliant operation of company aircraft, adhering strictly to Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and established company procedures.

Minimum Flight Time Requirements:

Total Flight Time: 3,500 hours
Total Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 2,000 hours
Total Time in Type (Hawker 900XP): 250 hours
Total PIC Time in Type (Hawker 900XP): 250 hours
Total Multi-Engine Time: 1,500 hours
Total Multi-Engine PIC Time: 500 hours
Total Turbine Time: 500 hours
Total Instrument Time: 300 hours

Essential Functions:

Diligent management of duty, flight, and rest times to comply with both company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations (CFRs).
Proactive communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position updates, and comprehensive pre- and post-flight reports.
Maintenance and management of Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) hardware and associated applications.
Ensuring all navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are kept current and readily accessible.
Possession and maintenance of a current First-Class Medical Certificate.
Demonstration of strong, proactive decision-making skills in all operational aspects.
Embodiment and demonstration of Jet Linx's core values in all professional interactions.

Additional Requirements:

Completion of initial or recurrent 142 training in type within the past 24 months is highly preferred.
Ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license.
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
Possession of a current passport.
An Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate or the demonstrated ability to obtain one.
A valid First-Class Medical Certificate.
A current FCC Restricted Radio License.
Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and participate in random drug and alcohol testing as required.
Unrestricted ability to travel internationally, including to Canada and Caribbean countries.
Ability to release and pass a FAA Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief Pilot.
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as operational needs dictate.
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience is required.
The majority of work duties are performed in and around aircraft and associated terminals.
The ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.

Starting Base Salary: The annual base salary for this position ranges from $145,000 to $200,000. The final base salary will be determined based on factors including geographic location, aircraft size (crew positions), relevant education, training, and the candidate's overall experience.
