Pilot in Command – Hawker 900XP

Jet Linx Aviation is actively seeking experienced and qualified Pilot in Command candidates to join their team. This full-time opportunity involves operating midsize jet aircraft for both Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations. Candidates are expected to reside within a two-hour call-out time of their designated home base or be willing to relocate.
Position Summary
The Pilot in Command (PIC) is a key leadership role, reporting directly to the Base Chief Pilot. The primary responsibility of the PIC is to prepare for and ensure the safe, efficient, and regulatory-compliant operation of company aircraft, adhering strictly to Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and established company procedures.
Minimum Flight Time Requirements:
- Total Flight Time: 3,500 hours
- Total Pilot in Command (PIC) Time: 2,000 hours
- Total Time in Type (Hawker 900XP): 250 hours
- Total PIC Time in Type (Hawker 900XP): 250 hours
- Total Multi-Engine Time: 1,500 hours
- Total Multi-Engine PIC Time: 500 hours
- Total Turbine Time: 500 hours
- Total Instrument Time: 300 hours
Essential Functions:
- Diligent management of duty, flight, and rest times to comply with both company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations (CFRs).
- Proactive communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position updates, and comprehensive pre- and post-flight reports.
- Maintenance and management of Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) hardware and associated applications.
- Ensuring all navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are kept current and readily accessible.
- Possession and maintenance of a current First-Class Medical Certificate.
- Demonstration of strong, proactive decision-making skills in all operational aspects.
- Embodiment and demonstration of Jet Linx's core values in all professional interactions.
Additional Requirements:
- Completion of initial or recurrent 142 training in type within the past 24 months is highly preferred.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Possession of a current passport.
- An Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate or the demonstrated ability to obtain one.
- A valid First-Class Medical Certificate.
- A current FCC Restricted Radio License.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and participate in random drug and alcohol testing as required.
- Unrestricted ability to travel internationally, including to Canada and Caribbean countries.
- Ability to release and pass a FAA Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief Pilot.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as operational needs dictate.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience is required.
- The majority of work duties are performed in and around aircraft and associated terminals.
- The ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.

Starting Base Salary: The annual base salary for this position ranges from $145,000 to $200,000. The final base salary will be determined based on factors including geographic location, aircraft size (crew positions), relevant education, training, and the candidate's overall experience.
