Key Responsibilities:

The Analyst, Workforce role provides administrative enhancements and drives scheduling and staffing strategy for the Pilot Crew Scheduling operations team. The role entails responsibility for developing policies and tools for departmental administrative and workforce management needs. This role includes evaluating volume-driven staffing needs, aligning schedules and bids to those requirements, developing tools for real-time workload analysis, and creating structure and process for real-time operational staffing adjustments.

+ Supports in daily allocation and assignment of the pilot crew scheduling team while evaluating overall staffing levels.

+ Creates policies, procedures, and tools to measure and allocate internal staffing to align with scheduler workload.

+ Creates tools to mitigate administrative workload and optimize processes to reduce response time to real-time staffing needs and conditions.

+ Designs annual bid structure and monthly relief line coverage for open shifts. Coordinates bidding and leads all staffing decisions.

+ Supports in long-range headcount forecasting for Crew Scheduling internal resources.

+ Develops monthly teporting to evaluate hours and financial impacts of scheduling and shifting.

+ Pairs with workforce administration team to provide 7-days-per-week operational support for the pilot crew scheduling team, adapting to support other administrative tasks when required.

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

+ High School Diploma

+ 1 year of experience in the administrative or workforce management space

+ Coordination of multiple priorities in a real-time operational environment

+ Ability to structure confidential employee data into an easily accessible and addressable format

+ Ability to calculate time and dates

Experience in workforce management, staff planning and allocation, attendance management, or payroll

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

+ Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of relevant work experience (ex. Business, Management, Administration)

+ 3 years of experience in the administrative or workforce management space

+ Experience building real-time and long-range workload, workforce, and staffing models
