Gulfstream G550 Flight Attendant

Solairus Aviation seeks a dedicated and experienced full-time Flight Attendant to be based in Opa Locka, FL (KOPF). This individual will be an integral member of a dynamic team, responsible for providing exceptional, personalized service while ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers aboard a Gulfstream G550 aircraft. The successful candidate will possess a strong work ethic, be highly adaptable, and demonstrate a passion for culinary arts.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide superior, personalized service to passengers, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout all phases of flight.
Direct and assist passengers effectively during emergency situations.
Administer first aid, including CPR and AED, to passengers when necessary.
Secure the aircraft cabin in compliance with all applicable federal regulations prior to takeoff and landing.
Provide reassurance to passengers during turbulence and other unusual events.
Conduct thorough pre-flight briefings.
Manage inventory and ensure sufficient supplies of food, beverages, blankets, reading materials, and emergency equipment.
Procure requested items on behalf of passengers.
Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organization of the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck.
Perform routine cabin checks to ensure passenger comfort and maintain cleanliness.
Accurately complete all required pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight documentation.
Operate all in-flight audio and video systems.

Qualifications:

Comprehensive knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
Current First Aid and CPR/AED certification.
Minimum of five years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant.
Flight attendant-specific training from a recognized provider such as FlightSafety or FACTs is preferred. Annual recurrent training is required. (Candidates without formal training may be considered, but will be required to complete initial training prior to any flight assignments. Preference will be given to those with recent training.)
Demonstrated proficiency in using technology.
Exceptional flexibility, adaptability, and patience.
Advanced culinary skills and formal culinary training.
Ability to manage a dynamic schedule that may include late-night flights.
Availability for short-notice flight assignments (2-3 hour response time on standby).
Unrestricted ability to travel internationally, considering health and visa status.
Ability to deploy for extended periods of up to 16 consecutive days.
Proficiency in operating Cabin Management Systems.
Expertise in utilizing all galley equipment.
Ability to manage and operate all cabin features, including berthing seats.
Superior interpersonal and customer service skills.
Exceptional attention to detail.
A college degree is preferred.
Fluency in one or more foreign languages is preferred.
Experience in caring for small children is preferred.

Specific Physical Requirements:

Vision must be correctable to 20/20 or better. Uncorrected vision should be no worse than 20/20. Must be able to use a computer, smartphone, and/or iPad device.
Must possess clear speech and sufficient hearing to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and pilots.
Must be capable of standing for up to 14 hours with limited sitting opportunities.
Must be able to kneel and maneuver in confined spaces within the aircraft.
Must be able to push or pull the main cabin door, which weighs up to 130 pounds. Must be able to type, write, and prepare and serve food and beverages. Must be able to lift supplies weighing 25-30 pounds repeatedly from floor level to waist height.

Compensation:

Solairus Aviation offers competitive compensation, with salaries ranging from $50,000 to $500,000 based on location, experience, aircraft type, job duties, training, and client assignment.
