Flight Attendant – Gulfstream G550
Solairus Aviation, a leading private aviation services company, seeks a highly skilled and experienced Flight Attendant to join our team based in Opa-locka, Florida, operating a Gulfstream G550. The successful candidate will be a dedicated team player, providing exceptional service and ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers throughout their journey. This full-time position requires flexibility and a commitment to exceeding expectations in a demanding yet rewarding environment.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Deliver superior in-flight service, prioritizing passenger safety and comfort.
- Provide prompt and effective assistance to passengers during emergencies, including administering basic first aid (CPR, AED).
- Secure the cabin according to federal regulations before takeoff and landing, and maintain a calm and reassuring presence during turbulence.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight briefings and ensure adequate supplies (food, beverages, amenities, emergency equipment) are on board.
- Fulfill special passenger requests, including procuring items as needed.
- Maintain impeccable cabin cleanliness and organization, including meticulous cleaning and stocking of the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck after each flight segment.
- Perform routine cabin checks to ensure passenger comfort and well-being.
- Complete all required pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight paperwork accurately and efficiently.
- Operate cabin audio-visual systems proficiently.
Qualifications:
- Comprehensive knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and First Aid Training Certification.
- Minimum five years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant on a Gulfstream G550 or similar aircraft.
- Completion of flight attendant training from a reputable institution (FlightSafety, FACTs, or equivalent) is strongly preferred; annual recurrent training is mandatory. Candidates without formal training may be considered based on extensive relevant experience, but will be required to complete initial training prior to commencing duties. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed relevant training within the past 12 months.
- Demonstrated proficiency in culinary arts, including formal culinary training.
- Technological aptitude and ease with modern cabin management systems.
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills; demonstrated flexibility and patience are essential.
- Ability to manage a variable schedule, including late-night and on-call flights (2-3 hour response time).
- Unrestricted ability to travel internationally; suitable health and visa status is required.
- Capability to deploy for up to 16 consecutive days.
- Proficient operation of all galley equipment and cabin features, including berthing systems.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- A college degree is preferred. Fluency in additional languages is highly desirable.
- Experience working with children is advantageous.
Physical Requirements:
- Corrected vision to 20/20 or better.
- Excellent hearing and clear speech.
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 14 hours), with limited sitting.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks in various climate conditions.
- Ability to kneel, stoop, bend, and maneuver in confined spaces.
- Capacity to lift up to 30 pounds repeatedly and to manage heavier items (up to 130 pounds, such as the cabin door).
Compensation:
Compensation ranges from $50,000 to $500,000 annually, based on experience, location, aircraft type, job responsibilities, training, and the specific account assigned.
