Solairus Aviation is seeking a dedicated and highly professional full-time Flight Attendant to join its team, based at KOPF. This individual will be a flexible and proactive team member, readily taking on additional responsibilities to ensure unparalleled passenger service at all times. The Flight Attendant's primary responsibility is to provide exceptional personal service, ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers throughout all phases of flight. This includes greeting passengers, clearly explaining safety procedures, and providing outstanding food and beverage service. The Flight Attendant will also be responsible for directing and assisting passengers during emergencies, administering basic first aid, and securing the cabin before takeoff and landing, in accordance with federal regulations. Pre-flight briefings, ensuring adequate supplies are on board, and cabin maintenance between flights are also key duties. The Flight Attendant will also fulfill special requests and manage various cabin systems.
Ideal candidates will possess a comprehensive understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations, along with First Aid Training Certification. A minimum of five years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant is required. Flight attendant-specific training from recognized institutions like FlightSafety or FACTs is preferred, and annual recurrent training is mandatory. Candidates without formal training may be considered, subject to completing initial training before their first flight assignment. Preference will be given to applicants with recent training within the last 12 months. The successful candidate will be technologically adept, patient, and possess a flexible nature. Exceptional culinary skills and training are also required. This role demands the ability to adapt to frequently changing schedules and late-night flights. The Flight Attendant must be available on short notice, responding within 2-3 hours if on standby, with the unrestricted ability to travel internationally for up to 16 consecutive days. The ability to operate all features of cabin management systems, galley equipment, and cabin features, including berthing seats and divans, is necessary. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills are critical, alongside a high degree of attention to detail. A college degree and fluency in one or more foreign languages are preferred. Experience working with small children is also advantageous.
Candidates must meet specific physical requirements including vision correctable to 20/20 or better and the ability to hear and speak clearly for effective communication. They must be physically capable of standing for extended periods, maneuvering in tight spaces, and must possess the strength to push/pull heavy cabin doors and lift supplies weighing up to 30 pounds. They must also be able to kneel, bend, and perform the essential tasks of preparing food and using electronic devices.
Solairus Aviation provides a competitive salary, with compensation ranging from $50,000 to $500,000 annually, dependent on location, experience, aircraft type, job duties, and training.
