Gulfstream G550 Captain Position – Opa-locka, FL

Solairus Aviation seeks a highly skilled and experienced Gulfstream G550 Captain to join its operations based at Opa-locka Executive Airport (KOPF). The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional professional conduct and a commitment to operational excellence, working collaboratively within a dedicated team to ensure the safe and efficient fulfillment of client travel needs. Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

The Captain will be primarily responsible for the safe and prudent operation of the Gulfstream G550 aircraft, encompassing:

Conducting pre-flight inspections in strict accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
Thorough review of weather conditions and flight route facilities, including designated alternate airports.
Adherence to all Solairus Aviation policies and procedures, as well as all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
Prioritization of the safety and well-being of all passengers and crew members.
Meticulous completion of all required trip documentation according to established procedures.
Maintenance status review prior to each flight.

Qualifications:

Total flight time: 3000 hours
Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time: 1500 hours
Multi-engine land (MEL) time: 1500 hours
Multi-engine land PIC time: 500 hours
Turbojet time: 500 hours
Instrument time: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications:

Gulfstream G550 type rating (or equivalent).
Current First Class Medical Certificate.
Availability for on-call duty.
Ability to complete annual ICAO International procedures training.
Residence within a two-hour drive of KOPF, or willingness to relocate.

Compensation:

Solairus Aviation offers a competitive salary range, commensurate with experience and geographic location, falling within a broad spectrum of $50,000 to $500,000 annually. The precise salary will be determined based on experience, aircraft type, job duties, training, and assigned account.
