Solairus Aviation seeks a highly skilled and dedicated Challenger 605 Captain to join our team at KBED airport. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional professionalism and strive for excellence in all aspects of their performance. As a member of our team, you will contribute to the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft, adhering to Solairus's unwavering commitment to safety, service, and integrity, while meeting the travel needs of our discerning clientele.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

• Responsible for the safe operation of the Challenger 605 aircraft.
• Conduct all flights in a safe and prudent manner, adhering to, but not limited to, the following:
  • Review aircraft maintenance status.
  • Conduct thorough pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
  • Complete comprehensive weather and facilities checks along the planned route, including alternate airports.
  • Ensure adherence to Solairus Aviation policies and procedures, as well as applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Prioritize the safety of all passengers, aircraft, and crew.
  • Accurately complete all trip paperwork in accordance with current procedures.

Qualifications

• Total Time: 3000 hours
• PIC: 1500 hours
• MEL: 1500 hours
• MEL PIC: 500 hours
• Turbo Jet Time: 500 hours
• Instrument: 250 hours

Specific Qualifications and Certifications

• Type rating on Challenger 605 or comparable aircraft.
• First class medical certificate required.
• Ability to work on an on-call basis.
• Completion of ICAO International procedures training annually.
• Primary residence within a 2-hour drive from KBED or willingness to relocate.

Additional Information

Solairus provides competitive compensation based on market conditions, experience, equipment type, job duties, training, and assigned account. Salary ranges from $50,000 to $500,000.
