Flight Attendant - Private Aviation
Solairus Aviation, a leading private aviation services company based in California's Wine Country, seeks a highly motivated and experienced Flight Attendant to join our team in South Florida. The ideal candidate will embody a commitment to exceeding passenger expectations, demonstrating exceptional culinary skills and a passion for delivering a premium service experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide unparalleled service to discerning clientele, ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers during flights.
- Offer proactive assistance and guidance to passengers in emergency situations.
- Administer basic first aid, including CPR, AED, and first aid, to passengers in need. Secure the cabin in compliance with federal regulations before take-off and landing. Reassure passengers during turbulence or other unsettling situations.
- Conduct pre-flight briefings, ensuring passenger understanding of safety procedures and protocols.
- Maintain meticulous cabin organization, ensuring ample supplies of food, beverages, blankets, reading materials, emergency equipment, and other amenities are readily available for the duration of the flight.
- Fulfill special requests for passengers, procuring desired items for their flight.
- Maintain a pristine cabin environment, diligently inspecting, cleaning, and stocking the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck after each flight segment. Ensure the aircraft is consistently prepared for flight, cleaned, and adequately stocked.
- Conduct periodic cabin checks to ensure passenger comfort and cleanliness. Complete pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight paperwork with accuracy and efficiency.
- Operate audio and video systems seamlessly, enhancing the passenger experience.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated proficiency in Federal Aviation Regulations and possess a valid First Aid Training Certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant, showcasing a proven track record of delivering exceptional service.
- Completion of FlightSafety, FACTs, or equivalent flight attendant training program preferred; annual recurrent training required.
- Candidates without formal flight attendant training may be considered based on relevant experience and qualifications but must attend initial flight attendant training before flight assignment.
- Preference given to candidates who have completed FlightSafety, FACTs, or similar training within the past 12 months.
- Technologically proficient and adept at utilizing various electronic devices.
- Possess exceptional flexibility and patience, demonstrating the ability to navigate changing circumstances with composure.
- Exceptional culinary skills and demonstrable culinary training are essential.
- Ability to manage a dynamic schedule, including late-night flights, with ease and professionalism.
- Availability to fly on short notice, responding within 2-3 hours when on standby.
- Unrestricted ability to travel worldwide, considering health and visa status.
- Capability to deploy for up to 16 consecutive days, demonstrating dedication to the role.
- Expertise in operating all features of the Cabin Management Systems.
- Proficient in operating all galley equipment, ensuring seamless meal preparation and service.
- Skilled in operating all cabin features, including berthing seats and configuring the divan into a bed, providing maximum comfort for passengers.
- Exemplary interpersonal and customer service skills, establishing rapport and building lasting relationships with passengers.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring a flawless and meticulous service experience.
- College degree preferred, demonstrating a commitment to continued learning and personal development.
- Fluency in one or more foreign languages highly preferred, broadening the scope of service offered.
- Experience with small children preferred, demonstrating the ability to create a safe and welcoming environment for all passengers.
Specific Qualifications/Certifications:
- Vision: Vision must be correctable to 20/20 or better with glasses or contact lenses. Uncorrected vision should be no worse than 20/20. Must be able to read reports, charts, manage post-flight paperwork, and utilize a computer, smartphone, and/or iPad device efficiently.
- Hearing/Speaking: Must be able to speak clearly and articulate effectively. Possess adequate hearing to communicate effectively over the phone and in person with clients, co-workers, and pilots, even when the aircraft is in flight.
- Standing/Walking: Must be physically capable and strong enough to walk and stand without assistance. Must be able to stand for up to 14 hours with limited ability to sit. Must be able to work long hours in various climates.
- Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling/Bending: Must be able to kneel in the luggage compartment to load trip supplies and luggage. Must maneuver in tight confinements within the aircraft with ease and agility.
- Fingering/Grasping/Feeling/Strength: Must be able to push open/pull closed the main cabin door, which weighs up to 130 pounds. Must be able to write, type, use a computer and a phone, and prepare/cook and serve food and beverages proficiently. Must be able to lift supplies weighing approximately 25 to 30 pounds, from floor level to waist high repeatedly.
