Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Gulfstream G550 Captain for its operations in the New York metropolitan area. This esteemed position involves commanding the Gulfstream G550, ensuring the safe and professional execution of business aviation flights for Solairus clients. About the Role

The Gulfstream G550 Captain will be responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft, conducting all flights in a prudent and secure manner. Key responsibilities include:

• Reviewing aircraft maintenance status.
• Performing pre-flight inspections according to the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Assessing weather and facility information for planned routes and alternate airports.
• Ensuring all flights comply with Solairus Aviation policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Maintaining the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew.
• Accurately completing all required trip paperwork.

This position operates on an on-call basis and includes annual recurrent ICAO international procedures training.

Requirements

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time.
• Minimum 1,500 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) time.
• Minimum 1,500 hours multi-engine land (MEL) time.
• Minimum 500 hours MEL PIC time.
• Minimum 500 hours turbojet time.
• Minimum 250 hours instrument time.
• Must be type rated on the Gulfstream G550 or a comparable aircraft.
• Must hold a first-class medical certificate.
• Availability for on-call duty.
• Ability to complete annual ICAO international procedures training.
• Primary residence within a two-hour drive of New York Metro area airports, or a willingness to relocate.
