Job Description

SkyShare seeks a skilled and passionate Phenom 100 Captain to join its Part 135 flight department based in Salt Lake City, Utah. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional service and safety to clients, contributing to SkyShare's vision of becoming the most loved private jet company.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure strict compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, checklists, and best practices.
  • Perform duties for up to 14 hours per day during trips, for as many as 8 consecutive days.
  • Accommodate trips that may cross multiple time zones and involve navigating varied weather conditions.
  • Work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekdays, weekends, and holidays, with availability for overnight trips and extended periods away from home.
  • Must reside within 1 hour of the Salt Lake City, UT Airport or commit to relocating within two months of hire. Commuting is not permitted for this position.

Qualifications

  • FAA Commercial or Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with appropriate category and class.
  • Minimum 2800 hours total flight time, including:
    • 1500 hours as PIC
    • 500 hours of multi-engine experience
    • 250 hours of jet experience
    • 200 hours of instrument time
  • Valid FAA 1st Class Medical Certificate.
  • FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
  • FAA Instrument Rating.
  • Valid U.S. passport and driver’s license.
  • Current IFR knowledge and experience.
  • Phenom 100 time preferred.
  • Prior Part 135 experience preferred.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Must be able to pass TSA background checks and secure an appropriate SIDA badge when applicable.

Salary, Schedule, and Perks

  • Salary: $125,000 - $140,000 annually, based on experience and time in type.
