Lead Captain
Jet Aviation is seeking a professional Lead Captain to join our global team. Since 1967, we have set the standard for aviation excellence, operating across 50 locations worldwide. Position Summary
The Lead Captain serves as the Pilot in Command (PIC) for assigned flights. This role requires a dedicated professional who prioritizes safety, security, and efficiency while fostering a culture of excellence among the crew. Key Responsibilities

Lead all aspects of flight operations, including pre-flight and post-flight inspections, flight planning, and weather analysis.

Mentor and develop crew members, coordinate schedules, and conduct performance reviews.

Maintain comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems to ensure precise and safe operation.

Champion a rigorous safety culture, including passenger briefings and active collaboration with maintenance teams regarding aircraft discrepancies.

Manage essential trip documentation, aircraft manuals, and participate in crew hiring processes.

Represent the Jet Aviation brand as a trusted ambassador in all professional interactions.
Required Qualifications

High school diploma.

Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.

FAA First Class Medical.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Minimum of 5 years of aviation experience.

Total fixed-wing time: 3,500 hours.

Pilot in Command (PIC) time: 1,500 hours.

Multi-Engine time: 1,500 hours.

Turbo-Jet time: 500 hours.
-
Turbine time: 500 hours.

Night flight time: 100 hours.

Simulated Instrument time: 75 hours.

Ability to work a variable schedule and travel extensively worldwide without restrictions.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment
The role requires regular standing, walking, and sitting, with occasional climbing, kneeling, or crouching. Candidates must be capable of lifting and moving up to 50 pounds. The work environment varies from upscale customer settings to maintenance hangars, involving exposure to occasional high noise levels, vibrations, fuel fumes, and varying weather conditions.
Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated salary range for this position is $315,000 to $340,000. Final compensation is determined based on experience, geographic location, and other relevant factors.
