Position Summary

Jet Aviation seeks a Lead Captain to ensure the safe, efficient, and professional operation of flight assignments. This leadership role involves mentoring crew members, fostering a culture of excellence, and representing the brand. The Lead Captain will serve as Pilot in Command (PIC), upholding the highest standards of safety, security, and quality. The position requires adaptability, discretion, and strong leadership to elevate the travel experience and exercise true airmanship.

What We're Looking For

  • Expert Credentials: Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and FAA First Class Medical required.
  • Proven Experience: Five years aviation experience with 3,500 hours total fixed-wing time, including 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command, 1,500 hours Multi-Engine, 500 hours Turbo-Jet, 500 hours Turbine, 100 hours Night, and 75 hours Simulated Instrument.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a variable schedule to meet flight mission profiles.
  • Global Readiness: Willingness to travel extensively worldwide with no restrictions.
  • Education: High school diploma required. College degree preferred.
  • License Requirements: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Team Spirit: Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a passion for collaboration. Exceptional organizational and communication skills with a deep understanding of the aviation industry.

What You'll Do

  • Lead with Confidence: Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all assigned flights, including pre-flight and post-flight inspections, filing flight plans, and analyzing weather and route conditions.
  • Crew Leadership & Development: Mentor and guide crew members, conduct performance reviews, and coordinate schedules and training.
  • Deliver Excellence: Maintain a complete working knowledge of all aircraft systems to operate with precision and manage flight plans.
  • Champion Safety & Compliance: Promote a strong safety culture, conduct passenger briefings, and address aircraft discrepancies with maintenance teams.
  • Provide Administrative Excellence: Manage trip documentation, maintain aircraft manuals, assist in crew hiring, and represent Jet Aviation professionally.
  • Represent the Brand: Showcase professionalism and dedication to delivering exceptional service.

What You'll Experience

  • Physical Requirements: Perform tasks requiring regular standing, walking, sitting, with occasional climbing, kneeling, or crouching. Frequent lifting and moving up to 50 pounds. Maintain sharp vision.
  • Work Environment: Operate in various environments, including heavy maintenance areas and customer spaces. Experience dynamic aviation operations with potential for high noise levels, vibrations, and exposure to fuel fumes. Adapt to changing weather conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this position is $315,000 to $340,000.
