Global Express First Officer
Silver Air is seeking an experienced First Officer to join its Global Express Fleet. The Global Express First Officer is responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft, ensuring all flights are conducted in a safe and prudent manner. This role is ideal for a dedicated team player who strives for excellence and is committed to meeting the travel needs of clients within a hardworking team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing the maintenance status of the aircraft to ensure continued airworthiness.
- Conducting thorough pre-flight inspections in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
- Completing checks of weather and facilities along the planned route and at intended airports, including alternate airports.
- Ensuring flights are conducted in strict accordance with Silver Air policies, procedures, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Ensuring the safety and security of all passengers, the aircraft, and the crew.
- Accurately completing all required trip paperwork in accordance with Silver Air procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements:
To perform successfully in this role, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of 1500 total flight hours in all aircraft.
- A minimum of 1000 multi-engine flight hours.
- A minimum of 500 total turbine flight hours (preferred).
- A valid First Class Medical Certificate (Required).
- Previous experience operating under Part 135 regulations (Preferred).
- The ability to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization for unrestricted commercial pilot travel to and from Canada.
- Strong customer service skills and excellent communication skills (verbal and written) demonstrating a superior level of professionalism when interacting with employees and clients at all levels.
- A high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, the ability to thrive in dynamic environments, and flexibility to manage frequently changing priorities.
- Excellent time management skills, the ability to work on an on-call basis, work well under pressure, and effectively multi-task. This role requires a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as Silver Air operates 24/7.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to function as a valuable team player contributing to the business and client objectives.
