705 First Officer

Reporting to the Assistant Chief Pilot, the 705 First Officer plays a critical role in safely transporting passengers while ensuring on-time performance and passenger comfort.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct flights in strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures, Canadian Aviation Regulations, Aircraft Flight Manual, and the Company Operations Manual.
  • Assist the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in flight management and operations, including cockpit procedures.
  • Perform aircraft fueling.
  • Conduct thorough pre-flight and post-flight aircraft inspections on behalf of the Captain.
  • Execute take-offs and landings under the authority of the PIC.
  • Focus on enhancing flying skills and knowledge for potential advancement to a Captain position.
  • Load, unload, and secure cargo and freight as required.
  • Continuously meet and exceed Transport Canada Qualification standards for a Pilot.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent.
  • Commercial Pilot License (CPL) AND Individual Aero plane Type Rating - Aero plane (IATRA) OR Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
  • Minimum of 500 Hours Total Flight Time.
  • Category 1 Medical certificate.
  • Current Group 1 Instrument Rating.
  • Fluent in English, with effective verbal and listening comprehension.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain applicable transportation security clearances and additional authorizations.
  • Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training is considered an asset.
